Following his nose Kunai had found himself infront of a beautiful late. Rapidly he lapped up the water with his tongue. His ears perked listening out for danger. After his delightful refreshment, Kunai fell to the floor, rolled onto his back and began to scratch it swaying his body left and right. By the looks of things it seemed that Kunai liked the place a lot. Liking the place a lot gave him an idea. A dangerous one at that. Once he had finished scratching and his dark chocolate color fur covered in dry dirt he groomed himself ready to start his plan.
Sniffing around he could sense that this territory was taken. No worries thought Kunai as he began to search for the leader of these lands. If Kunai came across a female he would try and act his way out of trouble and try to get the female like him. In this beautiful land the females would probably not fall for his devious tricks, but who knows? Maybe they will.

Kunai would be out of luck if he hoped to meet the ruler of these lands, who was on a business trip in the north to oversee the reclaiming of that territory. There would, however, be wolves under his command just waiting to be stumbled upon...
Splayed out in the shade of a tree whose roots grappled with the bank to hold onto land, each season getting closer and closer to tipping into the water, a large beast of a wolf lay snoring. With the air calm and without a breeze, and the bittersweet drone of insects in his ears and a splash of sunlight on his haunches, he was utterly oblivious to the presence of anything or anyone.

Got up to his paws as quick as he could and began to sniff around the edges, to mark the territory as his. This was something that Kunai had always done when he liked a place. He thought that if anyone had a problem with it they would challenge him. As usual Kunai wasn't being careful about where he was putting his paws and ended up standing on a bunch of twigs which snapped by the pressure of his paws pressing down onto them. Slowly but surely Kunai was making his way further and further into the territory. Marking it as he goes by. This wolf was very unware of a presence lurking nearby.

Before the twigs snapping flicked on King's attention, his senses became aware of the musk of urine - the urine of a wolf, a male, a stranger, such is the power of scent. He rolled to his feet, ears pricked in the direction of the clumsy footfalls. "Who's there?" He snarled automatically, bristling. His sharp yellow eyes whipped back and forth, but it was his nose that led him to the stranger. Stiff-legged, his lip curled, King walked towards the idiot who interrupted his nap, never mind that he was supposed to be on border duty anyways. "Who do you think you are, pissing in the land of the Legends?"

Turned his head at the remark curling his lips into a snarl. "Never you mind what i'm doing here." Grunted Kunai as he was ready to attack if he had to. All of his fur stuck up as he was full of surprise and anger. It didn't matter to Kunai if he wanted to fight or not as that was what he brought himself to do.

That was enough of an invitation for King, who wasted no time with show or threats. He didn't even bother to call for back-up, feeling so confident and determined to kill this intruding upstart was he. "You're dead," he murmured, and then launched himself suddenly at Kunai, aiming snapping jaws at his face.

Still Kunai continued to snarl. At at split second Kunai noticed that the other wolf was about to launch himself. In turn he tried to dodge to attack and succeeded in avoiding his face getten bitten, but not his right fore-paw. Kunai let out a loud yelp as the bite gave him a terrible pain. Now blood was dripping from the wound with the other will still biting him.

Annoyed that he missed his target, but still smug at having landed the first blow, King bit down hard and shook his head from side to side. He was quick however to release the paw and then jump back, head low to protect his neck, looking for an opening and watching Kunai, ready to parry any attack.

Yelped in pain when the other wolf applied pressure to the bite. As soon as the other wolf quickly let go of his paw Kunai gave his paw a quick lick and put his injured paw to the ground sqwinting his eyes slightly as the pain did not fade. Without warning Kunai jumped for the other wolf as he wasn't happy. He wasn't happy about one of his paws getting injured so early in the fight. As Kunai was launching himself at the other wolf his jaw openned ready to bite. Though he wasn't aiming for the others throat but the front of his chest.

With his head already lowered, King was ready for a frontal attack. With a ferocious snarl teeth met teeth, his body twisting as Kunai's fangs clashed with his own, cutting the Legend's gum and lip but deflecting a more potentially damaging blow.

As Kunai's attack didn't go as planned so he lowered his back slightly and began to try to curve around the other wolf. For a surprise attack. But first he had to get his jaws from being so close to the other males. Kunai was thinking of using his right fore-paw to in a way put the other males head down, but that manuvure was not possible. His paw was too injured to be used in that way. Instead he swung his big bush chocolate coloured towards the male. Hoping that it would reach his eyes to blind him for a second

Rather than reach his eyes, the tail whispered past King's nose, triggering a deep, irresistible reaction. He snapped at the waving object, his teeth clicking shut on empty air, and was momentarily distracted.

Kunai could see that the other wolf was distracted, so he kept moving his tail around while he turned and snapped at the other wolf's hind leg hoping to hit his target and injure him.

The first swish of the tail was a distraction, the second a patronizing annoyance. A fresh snarl bubbled up in his throat that hit a sudden staccato as Kunai's fangs met flesh, landing a blow right at the ankle joint. King twisted back to try to sink his own teeth into the enemy's haunch, ruing his momentarily dropped guard.

Gsve out a snarl while letting go as his target had been hit. But just as he had let go, King had done the exact same as what Kunai did to him. Kunai's eyes sqwinted tightly trying to hold back the pain as King was also successful. Kunai did not want to give up the fight nor did he want to lose.
